TOKYO -- Google is putting the growth of its cloud computing business into a higher gear on the back of the rapidly spreading use of generative artificial intelligence. Harsha Konduri, managing director for Google AI across Asia-Pacific and Japan, sees huge growth potential in Asia and says the company will focus on building and offering platforms equipped with features such as security, governance, and cost management.
