Vietnam and Russia deepen energy ties as To Lam visits Moscow
First state visit since 1991 highlights cooperation in energy, defense and trade

HANOI -- Russian President Vladimir Putin and Vietnamese Party General Secretary and President To Lam agreed to deepen energy cooperation, including in nuclear power and oil and gas, during talks in Moscow this week, according to the Vietnam News Agency.
